My name is Crystal and I worked in the Macon GA office some years ago...Anyway I see A Lot of people who seem to have took nothing from the experience but I have to be honest with you. It was my favorite job...always will be. I remember one day...on the way to our territory...The man training me told me something that has helped me to this day...He said, "As long as you know this you can make money for the rest of your life." He was right because to this day I use my 5,8,and 12 steps. It's just basic instruction on how people should live their life and if you other people didn't get it then...you missed out.

Thats what I keep saying!!!! I left the business but I used all the steps to apply in my own life and I'm a successful owner of a dog grooming shop. No one here will agree with me because all they see it as is a lack of income when they don't realize the only reason they made no money is because they never used any of the steps...thank you, Crystal!!

Well you also have to realize that the world is full of cows who just expect things to be handed to them. In that business the key to making money was the 5,8, and 12 steps. You have to stay excited because if you aint excited...how do you expect anyone to be excited. The business just wasn't made for some people. It sucks that so many people have screwed it up for everyone though. The territory in Macon was so screwed last time I worked it but I STILL MADE MONEY. Not just because I know my steps but I never let my excitement level drop. Some people just dwell on negativity...I embrace it and turn it into something positive. Just wish the office would have worked out cause we had some soldiers!

Soooo true. I agree a hundred percent. People like those who created and support these type of forums ruin the territories with their negativity. They blame the business and the territory for them not ringing the bell. They don't realize that if they just look at each no as bringing you closer to a yes you will find all your Aces and money wouldn't be an issue. It's people that aren't made for this that blow it. Then they go into a territory, piss off the customers, then wonder why they can't make money.... If you get negged out, leave and do something else. The world needs gas station clerks, waiters, doctors, whatever. People that have the drive to be rhinos can make this into something beautiful. I quit for reasons other than the company's ; methods. I quit because I couldn't live with the guilt of someone committing suicide on my team but looking back I'd do it all over again, probably be making way more than I am now. But if it weren't for the business I wouldn't be successful today. The haters need to stop being closed minded. Just because you can't ring the bell due to your weak attitude and low work ethic (which are the only two things you need in this business and in life generally) doesn't mean you need to try to push others away. You never know who could become the next Scott Williams or Craig Henshaw or Harmony Hunt... Get excited. Juice by that... And stop bashing on a good opportunity. ;D

You are right and wrong maliss. You are right that the 5,8 and 12 steps work (btw it was 4, 5 and 8 when i worked there, what was the 12?) anywhere in life. I took them and they have worked wonders for me in all my post ds-max endeavors.
Now you are wrong cause it's not a great opportunity. They still have too many unethical practices running the business, i.e. recruiting, certain sales techniques (that is more leaned toward the service oriented areas, cydcor and smart circle), business breakdown, territory management (by office distribution not by where they place the reps), and the constant brainwashing.
I'm glad to see that you took something good out of the experience, I did as well and agree with you in that aspect. You are making alot more money in your dog grooming business then you would be if you were still at DS Max, that is a guarantee. However if you mean you made more money there as a distributor then you do now, then i think it's time to close down the dog grooming biz lol. I wish you the best.

I have to correct myself. In my first post I said something about 12 steps when I should have said 4. Sorry for sounding like a "new guy". Haha I must have been thinking about my step brothers rehab...which I think he is addicted too.
